Changing the name space on my website

    Hi,
    I have purchased my website name and hosting through wordpress and now need to find out if there are any restrictions now that I am having my website built.
    My website is being developed using Java and without using any wordpress templates, tools or plugins
    Can you use a domain that wordpress are hosting without using a wordpress template? If yes then how do I go about changing the name space, which is what I need to do inorder to develop my website.
    Could you explain to me what ‘changing the name space’ is and instructions on how I can do this as my website developers have asked me to do this so that they can build my website.
