  Hi I’m just playing around with new themes, but everytime I apply a theme it seems like the previous theme had an impact

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there, if you created a brand new site where you haven’t yet added any content to the site, your site will continue to display the demo content from the initial theme you chose/activated. To get a better idea of what a theme will look like with content, click on the "Open Live Demo"button on the theme’s Showcase page.

  For example for the Apostrophe2 theme https://wordpress.com/theme/apostrophe-2 you can see the live demo by clicking on that button on that page. Each WPcom theme can be viewed in this way.
