Changing themes

  What happens to my old posts when I change themes? Do they remain in the old format?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Nothing will happen to them. Changing themes is sort of like painting your house a different color. You change the look, but the bathroom doesn’t go anywhere.

  After you change your theme all you need to do is go here Dashboard > Appearance > Widgets > Inactive Widgets and re-install them where you want them to appear. The widget contents and settings will be the same as they were prior to changing themes.

  Timethief makes a good point. It may be necessary to set your widgets back up again after switching themes.
