changing web address

  I want to change my web address from http://christianapologeticsandreasoning.wordpress.com to

  http://blackbeltapologetics.wordpress.com

  tried doing that manually on my account page, hit “save changes”. Not working. Is there a way to do this? Thanks

  Are you following the instructions here:

  http://en.support.wordpress.com/changing-blog-address/

  Please bear in mind that once changed, that site’s original WordPress.com URL will become permanently unavailable for future use. If you feel that you might need that URL again in the future, you might want to start a new site instead of changing the URL of this one.
