Changing Web Address Back
-
Hi, I changed my web address but now need to change it back to the original for business purposes. How can this be done without upgrading the plan and downloading a redirect plugin?
Thank you,The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi riverrunglobalfilmseries,
I’ve restored globalfilmseries.wordpress.com back to your account and it should now be listed under My Sites.
This site is empty because everything was moved over to riverrunglobalfilmseries.wordpress.com when you changed the address. Do you want to use globalfilmseries.wordpress.com instead of riverrunglobalfilmseries.wordpress.com from now on?

Hi,
I am still awaiting a reply/further directions on how the entire site can be restored (from riverrunglobalfilmseries back to globalfilmseries).
Thank you. -
Hi there,
First, you need to export all the content from riverrunglobalfilmseries by following our export guide:
Then, import them to globalfilmseries by following the import guide:
If you have any other questions, just let me know and I’ll be happy to help.

Thank you. I was able to export and import the files so now pages show in the correct account. However, the webpage is still not working: https://globalfilmseries.wordpress.com
This is what I need it to look like: https://riverrunglobalfilmseries.wordpress.com
Is this a matter of setting back up all customization features? Or can something else be exported/imported?
Thank you.

Hi there,
This next part will have to be manual, yes, as customizations cannot be exported. First, activate the same theme on your original site:
https://wordpress.com/theme/hew
Then open the Customizer for the two sites side-by-side, and copy everything over from the one to the other. You’ll likely need to follow the same process with your settings.
Once you’ve done that, let us know and we can also transfer your followers and stats back to the original site. Any likes you’ve received on posts cannot be transferred back, though, so those will be restarted from zero for all content on the site.
