Changing website name

  Is it easy to,change a website name? Will,I be able to transfer my blogs too? My site is bakerchristinelisi.wordpress.com

  If I changed my site to .org, how much is that? If I did .org , can I transfer my blogs too?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  I’m confused. When you say “.org” are you referring to WordPress.org or register a domain with the .org extension?

  Hi. I wondered if I switched to wordpress.org, if I could easily transfer all my past blogs from,my. WordPress.com blog.

  I really want to change the name, but don’t want to lose my past blogs.

  If you wish to change your _______.wordpress.com to a different ______.wordpress.com URL, you can do that with these instructions:

  https://wordpress.com/support/changing-site-address/#changing-your-wordpress-com-site-address

  Please read the warning notices. You will not be able to revert to your old site name if you choose to do this.

  If you wish to use a custom domain name (yourgroovydomain.com instead of yourgroovydomain.wordpress.com, for example) you can do that on WordPress.com with our paid plans:

  If you wish to switch from WordPress.com to a WordPress.org site with another webhost (GoDadyd, Bluehost, etc), you can export your site and all of it’s content using these instructions:
