changing wordpress with mailchimp to send new blog posts to email subscribers

Hi, I Trust you are doing well.

I recently activated mailchimp to handle the sending of new blog posts to my subscribers email.
this service was being handled by wordpress so far I think . see the image https://ibb.co/xJFcTbC

How do I stop wordpress from contacting my subsribers with new blog updates, I fear that they will receive update from wordpress and from the mailChimp campain. I would like mailchimp to be able to handle that exclusively

    thank you in advance

  • Hi there,

For what site is this? The account you’re using to post here doesn’t own any sites with us.

WordPress.com sites come with email subscriptions built in, but you as site owner have no control over that. Subscribers decide whether or not they want to receive emails for new posts, and there is no way to disable that feature.

If you’re using the stand-alone version of WordPress found on WordPress.org, then you’ll be using a plugin for this, as that software does not come with a subscription feature built in. In that case you’ll have to contact support for that plugin directly to find out how to disable that feature.
