changing www.scp09.wordpress.com to www.scp.org

  I want to change the address for my blog to http://www.scp.org with the private registration option and attempted to purchase the domain registration, but when I tried to enter the expiration date for the credit card I want to use I was sent to a Pay-Pal payment screen. I do not wish to pay for the domain registration via Pay-Pal.

  I want to purchase the domain http://www.scp.org with the private registration option using a credit card, not Pay-Pal.

  Please tell me what must be done to accomplish this.

  The domain http://www.scp.org/ appears to already be registered and owned by someone else.
