Charge error / cancel and refund

I have cancelled a domain so that it didn’t renew but I have still been charged. I need to get a refund and confirmation that it is cancelled.

Hi there,
Your domain hasn’t been renewed and therefore you haven’t been charged for it. The only thing that got renewed was your Personal plan back that was done 47 days ago and therefore you’re not eligible for a refund. WordPress.com annual plans are refundable within 14 days of purchase or renewal.

I tried to cancelled both. I am unsure why I was charged at all? In fact I thought I had deleted the entire account.

I do not see that your account has been deleted (or any activity along those lines) but If you wish, you can follow the steps here to permanently close your account, which will remove your personal data from our service: https://wordpress.com/me/account/close

I have tried again to delete the entire account in order to avoid this. I would still like a refund as this is the same steps I took before and believe it was an error on your part. Do WordPress have a customer service phone number as I am still unsure if the website / my account is deleted and I don’t want to charged again!
