Charged for an account that should be deleted

    I am furious. I have deleted all websites and accounts, and don’t even have log in access to them any longer. I was still charged for it. How on earth do I get reimbursed and CANCEL any and all subscriptions? There’s not even a dang customer service number to call.

    You are posting here as the WordPress.com username, jesswright4816628ddaa272. This account was created 7 hours ago, owns no sites, and has never bought anything from WordPress.com.

    The domain, jessiesue.com, belongs to a completely different WordPress.com account. That domain was first bought from us in January 2018. It has not been cancelled, and the site attached to it has not been deleted, as you’ll see when you type that domain into your browser, nor has the account that owns it been closed.

    We sent several reminder emails to the email address on file for that account prior to processing this renewal, and according to our email logs those emails were delivered successfully, which means the email account in question is still active. Please check all the email accounts you own for those emails, including the spam folder, and the Updates and Social folders in the case of any Gmail addresses. If you find our reminder emails you’ll know what email address to use to log into the correct account.

    Once logged into the account that owns that site you’ll be able to cancel the upgrades for a full refund at https://wordpress.com/me/purchases/

    If you no longer have the login details for the correct account and don’t have access to the email address for it any more, please follow our account recovery process at https://en.support.wordpress.com/account-recovery/

    Once we’ve verified your ownership of the site in question, we can help you regain access to the account and help you with refunding the recent renewal.
