Charged for premium upgrade when i cancelled it prior

  Just got hit with $99 charge on my amex after I went through the process to cancel the day before it was supposed to hit.

  Someone please help.

  Hi Derik,

  Sorry for the trouble with that Premium plan. I just checked your WordPress.com account, and you did successfully cancel that plan and the payment, so the charge didn’t go through. You may see a pending charge on your Amex card, but since you cancelled the charge before it was completed, WordPress.com did not take any payment.

  Sometimes it can take credit card companies some time to process cancelled charges like that — you can contact them to find out how long it will take before that pending payment is removed from your credit card.
