ChatPic Location Page Map Not Loading on Published WordPress.com Site

    Hello everyone,

I am facing an issue on my WordPress.com site ChatPic related to the location/map section on one of my pages.

The map block is not loading properly on the published page, but it works fine in the preview/editor mode. On the live page, the map area either stays blank or keeps loading without showing any location.

I am not sure what is causing this because I have not made major changes recently. The issue seems to happen only after publishing.

    What I have already checked:

    • Cleared browser cache
    • Tested on different browsers/devices
    • Checked page settings and block configuration

    But still no luck.

It looks similar to a rendering or loading issue that might be related to:

    • WordPress.com embed restrictions
    • JavaScript execution on live pages
    • Theme or block compatibility issue
    • Or caching/delay in script loading

Has anyone experienced this kind of issue on WordPress.com before? Any help or direction would be really appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.

If the ChatPic Location Page map loads in the editor but not on the published WordPress.com site, the issue is often related to JavaScript restrictions, map API settings, caching, or conflicts with how the map is embedded.

    A few things to check:

    • Confirm the map works when viewed in an incognito/private browser window.
    • Clear any site and browser caches.
    • Verify that any required map API keys are valid and authorized for your domain.
    • Check whether the map relies on custom JavaScript that may be restricted on your WordPress.com plan.
    • Test the page with other embedded content disabled to rule out conflicts.

If the map appears correctly in the editor but not on the live page, it’s likely a publishing, script-loading, or permission issue rather than a problem with the map data itself. Sharing screenshots or any browser console errors would help narrow down the cause.
