    Hello

    I recently swapped my domain over to another provider. I did have a website with WordPress but decided to switch as it was too complicated for me to use. I just wanted to check what had happened to my account? I now cannot log on to my original WordPress account as it is no longer connected to my domain.

    What is the domain?

    The account you used to post here is only a day old, and has never owned any sites or domains on WordPress.com.

    If you had a WordPress site hosted at another provider, then you were using the open source WordPress.org software, not WordPress.com. In that case your site would have gone offline the moment you disconnected your domain from it – there’s no way to access a website if the website is not connected to a domain.

    In that case you’ll need to contact your previous hosting provider to ask if the site is still on their servers, and ask their help in getting it reconnected to a temporary domain so you can access it.
