CHINA BROWSER CAN’T OPEN OUR WEBSITE.

    Hi
    Frankly, we are using WIX at the moment. But the majority of our clients in CHINA are having trouble viewing our website. Some reported it’s been blocked, some said it goes really slow or contents are missing. We are taking all kinds of measures and still can’t resolve this problem. So we are considering building our website through wordpress. Please advise whether wordpress has the same problem. Thank you

    Hi there,

    China is known to block access to certain parts of the web, either permanently or on a recurring basis, and you’ll have this problem no matter where you host your site or which platform you use, including WordPress.com.

    The only way to get around government or ISP internet blocks like that, is for people in the country to use a proxy or VPN service to view the site, though that itself might be illegal in some countries:
