"Chunk" theme disaster in IE 9
-
Greetings,
The problem has to do with the way this theme looks in Internet Explorer 9. How do I fix this? I like this theme and I don’t want to change it.
Take a look at these 2 screenshots side by side:

Amazing. The layour miraculously returned to its normal state, but the “shadow” graphics is still missing both on top and the bottom of the screen.

Since I don’t have IE9, I can’t even begin to say what the issue is, but you might try logging out, clear your bowser cache and cookies, restart your browser and then take another look.
Also in the test post, put in a few paragraphs of text instead of just the one word. I’ve seen IE choke on things like that and not honor the div styling, positioning and such set in the CSS and basically blow up.

Try the log out… stuff and see if that helps.
On the smiley, that is part of the stats system and staff have said that if it is removed then it could possibly mess up your stats.
It can be pushed way off to the side out of site, but that takes CSS editing and the Custom Design Upgrade.

Thanx for the info. Like I said, the layout returned to its correct state, but the shadow “background” is still missing on top of the screen. I don’t know why it doesn’t appear in IE 9.
