claiming my site with google admin

    hello, i have made a business site and google wants me to claim it. I have tried all the methods to no avail. I do not think my theme allows me to add the meta data to the html of the home page. any help would be appreciated, i have been trying for days.

    On what site are you working? The account you’re using to post here does not own any sites on WordPress.com.

    If you’re using the open source WordPress software at another host, please ask your hosting or domain provider for help instead, as they should be able to help you add the TXT record Google uses for verifying domains.
