  Forgive my lack of tech savy terms I am new to this. Through wordpress I have (email visible only to moderators and staff), now my understanding that potential clients will have t type in (email visible only to moderators and staff) to access my site. If this is accurate how can I change it so its HSimone.com?

  Just to clarify, the address of your site is https://hsimonecom.wordpress.com. There is no @ in your site address.

  If you’d like to use a custom domain like hsimone.com, you’ll need to do the following:

  1. Upgrade your site to a paid plan. You can review our paid plans and pricing here: https://wordpress.com/plans
  2. Register the desired domain by following the instructions here: https://wordpress.com/support/domains/register-domain/
  3. Finally, make your custom domain primary: https://wordpress.com/support/domains/#set-a-primary-address

  Once all of the above is done, your site will load at the custom domain.
