Classic Block still will be converted to blocks

    Classic Block

I’ve used Classic Block on my last article, but then when I m about to return to the editor, the whole paragraphs in one classic block are all converted to different blocks, which makes me so hard to edit. And most of the block shows ‘Invalid format’. I hate that. I need to work multiple times if I want to re-edit my article. Blocks make me laggin too while editing. I literally don’t like it. So confusing. I want my classic editor back as the old one, not in form of a block. It again, give me headache.

This is the article that I make using classic block. There is a unexpected incomplete part and some part that are repeated at the end of the article, which I want to edit, but what can I do? The classic block turns to many blocks which are mostly invalid formats.

  • Hi –

Thanks for getting in touch. Yes, you can switch back and forth between classic and block editor as you’d like. Open up a post or page to the editing view and click on the three dots to the very right hand side of that menu on the right. Look towards the bottom and you’ll see the option to switch editors. Please give that a try and write back if you need more help.
