  Hi there,

  My dad is having issues editing his website with the new editor and wishes to revert it to the old editor. I’ve searched forums for help, however the revert to old classic editor under the … settings does not have the option to do so.

  Hi there, it looks like your dad’s site is using the open source WordPress software and isn’t hosted here on WordPressdotcom.

  In order for him to return to using the Classic Editor on his site, you’ll need to install the Classic Editor plugin that you can download from WordPress.org

  For further help with a site using the open source WordPress software, you’ll want to head over to https://wordpress.org/support where they have more experience with the software you are using. If you don’t have a username on the ORG forums you can register one on the top of that page.

  Just to clarify, this support forum assists users of the WordPressdotcom platform. WordPressdotcom (where we are ) and WordPress are separate entities with different documentation and support forums.
