Hello, This is a test account. My main WP account is storyboardpro.
I have a new client who just signed up for WP who I have added to my blog rockymountainrawhide.com. She is the new owner. She is in Colorado and I am in WA State. Soooo, she has WP 5 and is currently saddled with Gutenberg and the dreadful Block Editor.
My question is this: How on Earth can I just get her into a WP 4.x view, like I have always had, and get her totally out of WP 5?
Is there a place/link I can send her to sign up, to just avoid the whole WP 5 Gutenberg mess?
My job is to train her remotely and I currently cannot do that since I have no ability to see what she is seeing, and I certainly have no time or energy to learn the new system that I have no intention of learning, as it is clearly not suitable for me, or for her.
By the way, I started this account so I might see what is going on with Gutenberg, and advise her about how to find the Classic View plug in and kill off the Block Editor once and for all.
But I see that I have to pay now, rather than get free access to the plug in, to eliminate Gutenberg, which of course is outrageous.
Anyway I need help and I would like to know how to have her just sign up for WP that works – WP 4.x. Is this possible? Can you help me?
I am so sorry that WP decided to do all of this, what a mess this is with Gutenberg. Very disappointed long-time WP user.

This is WordPress.com. Here the Business plan is required to install plugins (but the Business plan is not required to use the classic editor).
It sounds like the sites you’re working on aren’t hosted here. With the WordPress.org software it is just a simple matter of installing the (free) Classic editor plugin. The correct forum for help is:
