    Hello

    I am currently in the processing of writing a WordPress Site. My site is not hosted by wordpress.com nor wordpress.org

    I have read many good reports about JetPack and so wanted to install the plugin. To do this, I had to register at wordpress.com On reviewing JetPack, it is far too complex for my needs and hence I have uninstalled it.

    I now find that I have to login to my site via wp-login via wordpress.com

    How can I close account/deregister login via wordpress.com so that I can login to my site via wp-admin

    Hi Bev, I don’t see any Jetpack connections on your account.

    if it helps, though, you can host a site with WordPress.com, or create your own WordPress.org installation at the host of your choice.

    WordPress.org wouldn’t actually host the site, but that’s where you would go for help with your own installation.

    Jetpack kind of links the two, giving you some of the features and support that you would get here. But you can always access wp-admin at yoursite.com/wp-admin , with or without Jetpack.
