  I just noticed a bill for $72. that is on an old site I’ve not used IN YEARS.
  Can I get a refund when I close it????

  I can’t see a charge made on this account.

  It looks like the charge was perhaps made with a different WordPress.com account.

  If you’re able to locate a transaction ID (https://en.support.wordpress.com/billing-history/#retrieving-a-transaction-id) you should be able to recover the underlining account using this form here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/account-recovery/
