  I am trying REALLY HARD to close my account and unsubscribe from all the e-mails I get from post secret and all the other things you all control. I am typing what it asks to in the box and the option of close the account is not available

  What account are you trying to close? The mccormick7564gmailcom account you’re using to post here was created only three minutes before you created this forum thread, and there’s no reason you shouldn’t be able to close this account again.

  I am typing what it asks to in the box and the option of close the account is not available

  To which box are you referring? To close an account, go to https://wordpress.com/me/account/ and select the Close Account option at the bottom of the page. You’ll need to type in your username, mccormick7564gmailcom to confirm. If you don’t type it in exactly correct, the button to continue will not become available.

  Are you speaking of http://postsecret.com/? You weren’t subscribed to that site via a WordPress.com account, but via your email address only. To unsubscribe from that site, go to https://subscribe.wordpress.com/, enter your email address, and then click on the link you’ll receive via email so see your subscription options for that email address.

  I see you’re also subscribed to comments on a post on another site there.
