  Will closing my wordpress.com affect my wordpress.org

  Hi there,

  Closing a WordPress.com account will only affect a stand-alone WordPress site if you have that site connected to us via the Jetpack plugin. And in that case closing your account will only cause that plugin to stop working – the site itself will stay online.
