Close site, refund paymenr

    Hello, I was just charged my yearly fee for wordpress, but I would like to close my account and have my payment refunded. I know how to close my account, I would just like your assurance that my money will be refunded. Thank you!

    I’ll be glad to help with this. Looking at the account that you’ve used here, though, I can see there have never been any purchases or renewals processed on it. That means that the site you’ve been billed for is connected to a different WordPress.com user account. We will need to hear from you under that account to proceed.

    Please share the site URL that you were billed for.

    With that information we can help you find the proper account and investigate the charge in more detail.

    The refund will take about 10 days to reach you once we’ve processed it on our end.

    We are also going to need confirmation that you’re ok with letting the domain expire. That process means that someone else can register the domain and build a site on the domain.
