  I sent a request about 20 minutes ago to close my account. I was sent a response with directions to delete the site. The site is not mine to begin with, so I’d just like to delete my personal profile on it.

  You can close your account following this guide: https://wordpress.com/support/close-account/

  But first, you’ll need an Administrator of the site you’re attached to to remove you from it: https://wordpress.com/support/user-roles/#removing-users
