Closed my account a few years ago?

    HI I thought my account was closed a few years ago? I just received a email stating my cc was charged for my wordpress ?

    Hi there,

    It has only been possible to close a WordPress.com account since May 2018, so it’s quite impossible that you could have closed a WordPress.com account a few years ago.

    The account you’re using to post here is only two days old, though, and does not own any upgrades, nor do we have any credit card on file for you.

    What is the address of the site for which you were charged, and at what email address did you receive this email notification?

    If you’re not sure what site the charge is for, please search for the charge at https://wpchrg.wordpress.com/. You can also use the Contact Us link on that page to contact our billing support team directly for further help with this – to track down the transaction we’ll need to get some additional information from you which we cannot discuss here in the public forums.
