Closing a free account

    If I close my website will my domain name be available to use on another site? I inquired about transferring but do not see the option to transfer and I’m guessing because it is a free site?

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi there,

    Your site at http://www.everydayexecutive.org/ is not hosted on WordPress.com, and your domain is not registered with us, so closing your WordPress.com account will have no effect at all on that site.

    The only thing that will happen is that the Jetpack connection on your site will stop working, so some features added by Jetpack may disappear. You should be able to connect Jetpack to a different WordPress.com account, though.
