closing account

  I have a site hosted by bluehost that I am having trouble with the media library. I want to be sure I am not getting confused with an old wordpress site hosted on wordpress.com. If I delete the wordpress.com account, will by bluehost account be affected?

  Howdy –

  You’re looking for https://wordpress.org/support/forums/ for assistance with a site that uses BlueHost. That means it runs the open source WordPress installation – not our managed environment from WordPress.com.

  Thanks but I think bluehost changed my account so it goes to the .com site – It updates the .org site – how do I correct?

  To clear up any confusion, WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two different entities: http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

  You can close your WordPress.com account if you want, without affecting your WordPress.org site or your Bluehost account.
