Closing account

  Hi – I don’t use this blog anymore and would like to close it. I have another WordPress blog I use regularly with a different log in. If I close this blog, will it impact the other one I use? I would like to use the e-mail associated with the blog I am closing with the blog I use regularly. Can I do that? Thanks so much! Michelle Brubaker

  Hi there, I don’t see any WPcom sites attached to this account. Were you able to resolve this? If not, what are the addresses of the sites involved?

  If you want to use that same email address for a new account, change the email address of the old account to something else first. If you close your WPcom account while the original email address is attached, that email address will be locked for 30 days until the account information is purged.
