closing account

    I want to close my account permanently, but have been unable to do so.

    Hi there,

    You have a site in your account, ladybugaroundtheworld.wordpress.com, that is locked due to a chargeback we received for a renewal payment made in December last year.

    When you dispute a charge with your bank instead of asking us for a refund, you are in effect accusing us of fraud and we get fined by our payment processor. As a result, all upgrades are removed from your account and your site is locked pending payment of a chargeback fee. You will only be able to delete your site and close your account once that fee is paid.
