Closing account

  I was setting up a new wordpress site and adding an email. It kept coming up that I was trying to change my email address. I was so confused because I have not had this wordpress account in a very long time. I went to google your customer service and it popped up with this account with my name and another email address.
  If I close this account, will it affect me setting up my new one. I was using the name Kirk and Nicole in the other one.

  Hi there, is this the site you are setting up kirkandnicole.com? If so, that is not hosted here at WordPress.com, but on Bluehost and there is no connection, so that should not in anyway affect your site at Bluehost.

  Here at WordPress.com, we do require each WordPress account to have a unique email address, so if you try and make another account with the same email address as another, it will not be allowed.

  Your porterk74 account here can be deleted, but as I said, it would have no affect or connection to your site at Bluehost. The http://kirkandnicole.wordpress.com/ blog that is on the porterk74 account though would also be deleted if you close your account, and all the content on that site would be gone. It doesn’t look like it has been updated since 2015.
