closing account

    i am setting up my website with bluehost, and then got routed here to set up an account. I did, but I don’t want to pay for anything, and now I want to close the account. but i don’t want to lose the website i made with bluehost

    Hi there,

    You won’t lose your Bluehost site if you close your WordPress.com account, but the Jetpack plugin you have on your site needs this account to work.

    That plugin adds various features to your site, including stats, a comments system, various widgets, email subscriptions, and security features, among others, all of which will stop working if you disconnect and delete this WordPress.com account.

    If you don’t wish to use Jetpack, that’s fine. But if you do, you need to keep this WordPress.com account as well.
