Closing account

  I set up a free account at first on wordpress.com, so I have a site.wordpress.com landing page. However I registered with just my domain name for a new website on Easy WP via Namecheap. If I close the first WordPress account, will it affect my site that I have on Easy WP? I don’t think it will, but want to double check.

  It’s safe to close your WordPress.com account as it isn’t connected in any way to your self-hosted WordPress site on Easy WP.
