Closing domain completely

  Need to completely close the domain so that the same name can be used elsewhere. Have deleted account with WordPress but not yet able to use the domain name.

  Unfortunately, closing your account will not help in this case. Canceled domains go through a series of stages before they are released, and you may lose them on the way. It’s never a good idea to cancel a domain you wish to keep using. You can transfer it instead.

  If you wish to recover the domain (we’re still on time), you will want to reply to the email we sent you after closing your account.
