  In order to facilitate closing your account, we’ll first need to downgrade your Business Plan site to a free site, which may result in the loss of any content created with plugins.

  I’m sure you’re ok with this, but as it could result in data loss, we do need to ask for confirmation first.

  Ok, the site has been downgraded, and you can now close your account by following the steps at https://wordpress.com/support/close-account/
