Closing my account

    A few months ago, I exported my content of WordPress.com to WordPress.org site. Now, I want to close my account of WordPress.com but I’m wondering if there would be any damage to WordPress.org if I close WordPress.com account. I know that these two systems are a completely different entities but I just wanted to make sure before deleting because it says I cannot restore it if I decide to close the account.

    WP.com: Yes
    Jetpack: No
    Correct account: Yes

    Hi there,

    You’re correct. Closing your WordPress.com account and site will not affect your WordPress.org site. Just make sure that you’ve migrated all of your site’s contents before proceeding with the closure.
