  Hi. I would like to permanently close this account since i have a new one already. I have already deleted the site, and every time i click close account it refuses.

  I see nothing in your account that would prevent you from closing it. Are you following the instructions here?

  What exactly happens when you try to close it? Do you see any error messages? Have you tried clearing your browser cache to see if that makes any difference?
