  If I close my WordPress.com account does that affect my WordPress.org websites?

  Hi there,

  Closing your WordPress.com account will only affect any stand-alone WordPress websites you own if those sites are connected to your WordPress.com account via the Jetpack plugin. And the only thing that will happen is that Jetpack features that rely on that connection will stop working.

  Self-hosted WordPress sites are each a completely separate entity, and nothing you do on WordPress.com, nor any single stand-alone site, can have any effect on any other stand-alone site, as there’s no intrinsic connection between them.
