  If I close my account, will the blog posts still be visible to others?

  Hi there,

  If you wish, You can follow the steps here to permanently close your account, which will delete all sites under that account as well as remove your personal data from our service: https://wordpress.com/me/account/close

  However, it is not possible to close your account and leave your site online. If you close your account the site you have must also be deleted.

  If you wish to instead take your site offline without closing your account, you can set it to “private” instead. https://wordpress.com/support/settings/privacy-settings/
