  Hi I just wanted info about closing temporarily because I haven’t set website up and don’t have the time at the moment so it’s just a waste

  I think your site is hosted with 123-Reg; you’ll need to reach out to them to see if you can pause your hosting subscription.
  Here, on WordPress.com, we can’t help you with it as your site is not using our services.

  To clear up any further confusion, there is WordPress.com and WordPress.org, and they are two different entities.

  We, WordPress.com, are a cloud-based platform where we manage WordPress sites, whereas WordPress.org is stand-alone software that you can download and self-host with any other hosting.
