Closing wordpress.com account

    Hello,

    I had a few questions regarding the differences between my wordpress.org account which I host through my domain, and my wordpress.com account. Its been a few years so I don’t exactly remember what I did, but I think i might have originally created a .com account then transferred it over to my .org account. I have my current .org account hidden while I design a new theme and design for it, but after searching for my brand i saw an old .com account come up. Is there a way to delete the old .com account without it interfering with my .org account hosted on my domain? How can I delete the old account and blog completely?

    Hi there, I’m seeing two WordPress.org sites connected to your WordPress.com account through Jetpack.

    The WordPress.com site on your account is still visible to the public. I would suggest setting it to Private and keeping it just in case you would happen to want to return to it later.

    You can also, if you choose, delete that site as explained here.
