CNAME wildcard not working, domain.com works, www.domain dosent
-
CNAME entry not working after mapping domain to go daddy.com. I have successfully mapped wordpress.com domain to my new site at godaddy.com.
Unfortunately you can only access my blog by typing privatejetsecrets.com When you type http://www.privatejetsecrets.com you get a “cannot find server”
I followed the cname instructions for a wildcard, but they don’t seem to work. I have cleared cache etc.. Very annoying as i have lost some of my blog traffic as some people will type www
Please note correct blog is privatejetsecrets.com (white background) not the one on wordpress.com
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
I’m sorry for the trouble with that. I just set up that CNAME record for you, as described at the end of this support page: Mapping a Domain Registered with WordPress.com to a WordPress Site Hosted on GoDaddy
Please note it may take some time (sometimes up to 72 hours) for that CNAME record to take effect everywhere. Please let me know if you have any questions about that. :)
