Codes

Over the past few posts or so I have been having html codes showing up on my blog posts at the beginning of the text. If I notice it on the preview then I can take it off. But it isn’t always that easy.
this is what shows up and it is going out to my readers as well. I eventually get it taken off the page, by hitting edit. It shouldn’t be there to begin with.Normal

Hi there,
Do you write your posts in Microsoft Word? When you copy and paste text from Word, you can end up with code like that in your posts. Instead of pasting the text directly into the post editor, you can use the Paste from Word button in the post editor — that will remove any code like that for you. You can find out more about that here: Microsoft Word
Please let me know if I can provide any further help with this. :)

Hi there,
Yeah I compose it in Word and then copy and paste it into my writing area on the blog. I will give it a whirl when I post my next blog. I do notice if I do it in notepad that it doesn’t have the coding show up on my blog post. So I can see how that could be.
