Color Background of Page / Longer Block

    Hello! Hope you are all safe & well! Just two questions:

    1. How exactly can you change the color of the background of a page (it’s currently the default white and I would maybe like to change it to a light grey)?

    2. Is it possible to make a paragraph block horizontally longer on both sides?

    1. How exactly can you change the color of the background of a page (it’s currently the default white and I would maybe like to change it to a light grey)?

    Your theme does not have an option to change the background color for the entire site, but you can change the background of individual blocks, like the cover block, from within the editor.

    The only way to change the background for the entire site is using custom CSS code, and that requires our Premium Plan.

    2. Is it possible to make a paragraph block horizontally longer on both sides?

    This would be possible with custom CSS code, but I wouldn’t recommend it:

    Human eyes can most comfortably read text that’s arranged at 50 to 75 characters per line. Any longer than that and people’s eyes start getting tired from having to travel too far left and right to read each line, and there’s a bigger risk of people losing the line they’re on while moving back to the beginning of the next line. In other words, it makes your text less readable and your site harder for visitors to use.

    This is why the paragraph block doesn’t have a full-width option built in, and why all our themes are designed to not show the content area any wider than this ideal range.
