.com vs .org for ecommerce

Can anyone help me decide between WorPress.org & WordPress.com. as a way for me to provide an ecommerce site. I am a novice. I have created one website using Weebly; I need to add one product and a service to my existing offer. I want to try something more capable than Weebly. I read & write zero computer languages. I define WordPress.org as software; I need to provide a host for it; .org can do everything. I define WordPress.com as a service; it is hosted by WordPress; I am limited in what I can do with .com. With my level of understanding of .com vs .org, I PREFER .COM I believe my needs are simple. .com is probably capable of providing what I want. But I would like some confirmation before I spend $300 for the business service for .com.

What I need for my site is about 8 pages. I will use the site to sell 3 tangible products, and to sell me using one of these products as a service to homeowners at their home . Most of the pages will have text & 1 or 2 photos, both of which can be fixed, unchanging. I would like to make one 60-second video available, but I can live without the video. I would like some sort of a buy-it-now button on most of the pages which allows people to purchase my products using PayPal. I would like to provide a scheduling tool where customers for the service can start the appointment process by choosing from available times.

Can I do this with WordPress.com?

You can do all of that with WordPress.com. You will without a doubt pay no LESS than $300 to have a professional set that up for you at WordPress.org. If you want to learn and do it yourself, you can do it easily for just the cost of the hosting and domain name for a year.
