combine my multiple accounts

    Hello I have two accounts under one email and another account under goDaddy. I am trying to merge my accounts under one email (email visible only to moderators and staff).

    Hi there,

    It’s not possible to have two WordPress.com accounts under the same email, as an email address is a unique identifier, like your username, that can only be connected to one account at a time.

    Are you perhaps referring to different sites? It’s possible to have more than one site under a WordPress.com username account, associated with a particular email. But the daykeylamcgee1 account you’re using to post here doesn’t own any sites with us.

    If you have a hosting account with GoDaddy, that is something completely separate from your WordPress.com account, and there is no way to link that, as WordPress.com and GoDaddy are two different companies and there exists no connection between our systems.

    If you’re referring to the admin logins of individual WordPress sites hosted somewhere else, those also have nothing to do with WordPress.com. On WordPress.com you can have multiple sites associated under a single account – that is how our hosting setup on WordPress.com is designed.

    But by default that’s not how WordPress works – on a standard WordPress site, each site is a completely separate entity, with each site having its own, separate admin user account. You can certainly decide to use the same usernames or emails for the admin accounts on different sites, but that does not create any intrinsic link between those sites.

    I accidentally created two different accounts under different emails at wordpress site, but when I tried to link my correct email to my correct wordpress it wouldn’t let me because I already have an existing account with wordpress under that email. I was going to delete the other account but I’m afraid it will delete my website. It doesn’t say my website is connected to the account I want to delete, but I am still a bit afraid that something will happen. The wordpress site also says that if I delete the account I will not be able to use the email for a while. I am just afraid that deleting the account will delete all my work and website. Is there a way I can contact a wordpress customer service line.

    daykeylamcgee1 has no sites under it and daykeyla1 only has your GoDaddy hosted site connected.
