    A person commented that she/he left a comment on one of my posts and is now receiving several emails in return. I did not have a record of an original comment from this person, so I trashed the comment. If the person is correct in thinking that somehow a comment she/he made is causing her to receive emails, is there any way to fix it?

    Hi there,

    What is the username/email address the person provided when they contacted you? It’s possible the subscribed to comments on the post when they commented, but we’ll need to know their email address to check that, and only they have the ability to unsubscribe again. There’s an unsubscribe link at the bottom of every notification email they receive from WordPress.com.
