Comment ability miss on old posts (only available on non-recipe posts)

    I’ve lost the ability for viewers to leave comments on my post. If I create new posts, the ability to leave a comment is there, but on all my old posts, particularly those with recipes, viewers cannot leave comments. I have the ‘allow comments and trackbacks’ setting allowed in discussion, reading, and on individual posts so I cannot figure out what is wrong. Any advice would be so helpful, thank you!

    The site I need help with is modernhomecook.com. It is not hosted by WordPress.com, but it is connected with Jetpack.

    I’m afraid we won’t be able to help you here as your site is not hosted with WordPress.com. It is a site using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) but hosted with Bluehost.

    Because WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two entirely separate entities, we cannot access files or data for sites hosted elsewhere; we can only assist with sites hosted on our servers. You can read more about the differences between WordPress.org software and WordPress.com here:
