Comment moderation
-
I am not receiving emails for comments that need moderating and they are not showing up on my blog. I have only received one email notification for comments so far. I know for a fact that at least 5 people have commented on a post (they have informed me of this). However, I have not received the typical “a comment needs moderation” email for most of them, and they do not appear in the “pending” section on my blog. What’s going on?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Please confirm your Discussion settings first:

E-mail me whenever
_ Anyone posts a comment
_A comment is held for moderation
_Someone likes one of my posts
_Someone reblogs one of my posts
_Someone follows my blogI’ll tag this thread for Staff assistance. Will you please provide a couple of usernames for those WordPress.com bloggers who did not receive the emails as well as a couple of email addresses for those who do not have WordPress.com accounts? The software will redact ie. HIDE the email addresses so only Staff can see them. After you do that subscribe to the thread so you are notified when they respond and please be patient while waiting.

Hi there,
If you don’t see those comments appear in the Comments section of your site’s dashboard, the comments weren’t successfully made on your blog post. (Even if something goes astray with the email notification, all comments will appear in that section of your site’s dashboard.)
If visitors are having trouble commenting on your site, it would help to have more details directly from them about what’s happening when they leave a comment. If they have WordPress.com accounts, they can reply directly to this forum thread with details and I’d be happy to investigate that.
